ABOUT ANAHIT
A Multi-Talented Free Spirit
Anahit, a native of Armenia, is an honours Ph.D. graduate in music from the renowned Komitas State Conservatory in Yerevan. She has given recitals in Canada, USA, Russia, Armenia and the Middle East.
Anahit composes, writes and performs songs with styles ranging from Popular, Salsa, Rumba, Armenian Traditional as well as Romances.
Her repertoire includes songs in English, French, Russian, Italian, Spanish and Armenian.
Anahit's discography includes “Kanche Kroonk”, “Gakavik” and “Hai Mnank” which was nominated for best CD at the “Armenian Music Awards” in Los Angeles. She has also recorded the soundtracks for two documentaries for TVO and the National Film Board of Canada.
