Anahit Koutsouzian holds a Ph.D. in music from the Komitas State Conservatory in Yerevan, Armenia, one of the most prestigious music institutions in the region. Over more than three decades she has brought her voice and vision to audiences in Toronto and across Canada, the United States, Russia, Armenia, and the Middle East.
Her repertoire spans classical masterworks, Armenian traditional songs, popular standards, salsa and rumba, and Italian and Spanish romances. Performing in six languages, she brings rare cultural depth and versatility to every occasion, from intimate church ceremonies to grand concert stages.
Her discography includes three studio albums: Kanche Kroonk, Gakavik, and Hai Mnank. Hai Mnank earned a nomination at the Armenian Music Awards in Los Angeles, and her music has been featured in TVO productions and at the National Film Board of Canada.
